MLD is popular for post plastic surgery and after liposuction (e.g. face, neck abdomen, thighs etc) - it reduces pain, bruising, swelling and prevents scar tissue build up. MLD is a very gentle, 'light touch' form of massage based on pumping, circular and spiral shaped movements, which encourage the lymph fluid to flow more freely around the body. It reduces pain and swelling, and also helps with muscular pain, arthritis, chronic headaches, and chronic inflammation.
